“Lamma Bada Yatathanna” Guitar Arrangement

“Lamma Bada Yatathanna”  (Arabic: لما بدا يتثنى) is an Arabic muwashshah of the Nahawand maqam.[1][2] The poem is considered one of the most famous Arabic pieces of its era.[3]

Music is a universal language that transcends boundaries and brings people together. However, many beautiful and culturally significant Arabic songs have yet to be explored and enjoyed through the lens of classical guitar performance. This is what inspired the arranger to arrange many Arabic pieces for guitar and publish a book of collection of 30 Arabic songs arranged for classical guitar, ranging from easy to harder levels.
